1. Introduction
Welcome to OASIS for Hair, one of Canberra’s leading salons. By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
2. Appointments and Bookings
- Appointments can be made via phone, in person, or through our online booking system.
- A confirmation email or text message will be sent once the appointment is scheduled.
- To modify or cancel an appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee.
- Late arrivals may result in a reduced service time or rescheduling.
3. Pricing and Payments
- All prices for services are displayed on our website and in the salon.
- Prices may vary based on hair length, thickness, or additional treatments required.
- Payment is required upon completion of services. We accept cash, credit cards, and mobile payment methods.
- Promotional offers or discounts cannot be combined unless explicitly stated.
4. Late Arrivals, Cancellations & Missed Appointments
- We value both your time and ours. Lateness can disrupt our tightly run schedule and affect the experience of other clients.
- If you expect to be more than 15 minutes late, we kindly ask that you call the salon as soon as possible to inform us.
- We will try to accommodate you as our schedule permits, but please be aware that in some cases, your appointment may need to be moved to a different day or team member within the same week.
- If we are unable to reschedule your appointment to another time or team member, a cancellation fee of 100% of the service cost will be charged.
- This approach helps us manage our appointments more efficiently, ensuring that each client receives the quality service they deserve while respecting everyone’s time.
5. Returns on Products
- We happily accept returns on faulty products purchased within 30 days, provided they are accompanied by proof of purchase.
- Please contact us via email to arrange for faulty goods to be replaced.
6. Gift Cards & Vouchers
- Gift cards and vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated.
- They are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
7. Health & Safety
- Please inform us of any allergies, sensitivities, or health conditions prior to your appointment. This helps us tailor our services to your needs.
- We reserve the right to refuse services if any health conditions could impact the safety of the treatment.
8. Children & Pets
- For the safety and comfort of all clients, children and pets are not permitted in the salon unless they are receiving a service.
9. Privacy
- We collect and store personal data (such as your name and contact information) for booking and marketing purposes. This information will not be shared with third parties without your consent.
- By using our services, you consent to receiving occasional marketing messages, which you can opt out of at any time.
10. Promotions & Loyalty Programs
- Any promotions or discounts must be applied at the time of booking.
- Our loyalty program rewards can only be redeemed in accordance with their specific terms.
11. Culture of Kindness and Mutual Respect
- At OASIS for Hair, we prioritize a culture of kindness and mutual respect. We have zero tolerance for any form of bullying, disrespect, or abuse directed towards our team or clients.
- In the unlikely event that such behavior occurs, we will politely step in, cease services, and request that the individual leave without returning to the salon.
12. Damage to Client Property
- While we take utmost care in providing our services, OASIS for Hair does not assume responsibility for any damage to personal belongings, including clothing or accessories.
- Please ensure that you wear suitable attire and keep your belongings safe from potential exposure to products or equipment used in the salon.
- We regret any inconvenience caused by accidental damage, but we are unable to accept liability for such incidents.
13. Social Media & Web Engagement
- To enhance our services and client experiences, OASIS for Hair may capture photographs of clients, the salon environment, and daily operations for promotional purposes on our social media platforms.
- By engaging with our services, you acknowledge and accept the possibility of appearing in such photographs.
- We value your privacy. If you identify your image on our social media platforms and would like it removed, please notify us, and we will handle your request promptly and respectfully.
- Our aim is to showcase the exceptional work of our stylists and the inviting ambiance of our salon, without compromising client comfort or privacy.
14. Payments
- We may offer paid products and/or services within our salon. In such cases, we use third-party services for payment processing (e.g., payment processors).
- We do not store or collect your payment card details. Payment information is provided directly to our third-party payment processors, whose use of your personal information is governed by their Privacy Policy.
- These payment processors adhere to PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) requirements, which ensure the secure handling of payment information.
